Our goal is to design and produce custom-made reeds for each player. Our starting point is with each customer’s best reeds, whether new or old. We measure these and make a computer model. This model is used to develop a unique and individual reed model. Alternatively, we can suggest a good reed model when your brand and type of mouthpiece is known to us. This model is then used as the starting point for further development of the customer’s individual model. In all cases we make a few different test reeds with great precision. We do this with the computer model and by using our CNC computer-linked milling machine. These test reeds are then presented to the customer for testing and approval.
